On Site Green Belt Training in Structured Innovation Using TRIZ has three main elements: Lectures, Experiential Workshop and Homework. The lecture provides an understanding of TRIZ and inventive principles. The experiential workshop provides hand on experience using the principles of Structured Innovation on a real world problem facing the student. The homework provides the in depth understanding of the inventive principles to generate inventive problem solutions by using Guided Brainstorming Toolkit™ software.
The lecture requires a half day and includes the following.
- Situation Assessment
- Define the problem and Objectives
- Guided Brainstorming
- Identifying opportunities for improvement
- Generate ideas using Guided Brainstorming and TRIZ inventive principles
- Consolidating and evaluating ideas into solution concepts
The Experiential Workshop requires about a half day and leads the student through application of the Structured Inovation Process.
The Homework requires about 10 hours of the participant’s time and includes the following:
- Learn basics of TRIZ and Structured Innovation (1 Homework)
- The student submits personal examples of TRIZ inventive principles and the Pretium TRIZ specialist reviews and critiques the examples (5 Homework)
