Structured Innovation is a systematic technique that can be used by individuals to define complex problems, analyze systems to understand cause-and-effect, identify opportunities for improvement, create ideas to address opportunities for improvement using Guided Brainstorming™, consolidate ideas into solution concepts and develop action plans. Structured Innovation incorporates concepts from TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving) and FAST (Function Analysis System Technique). The overall Structured Innovation method is shown below.

Structured Innovation Training is done on-line and costs $1,495 and includes a named user license to Guided Innovation Toolkit software. The elements and time requirements of Structured Innovation Training are shown in the table below. Guided Brainstorming™ Training elements are shown in green. Students who have previously completed Guided Brainstorming™ Training will not have to repeat these steps and $995 will be credited toward the price of the Structured Innovation Training. Upon successful completion of the training, students will receive a certificate in Structured Innovation.
